
The FPT15-I Portable Surge Generator is designed for on-site testing of surge protective devices and lightning strike counters. It can release a maximum discharge current of 2.5kA and features a one-key operation for charging and discharging. The device starts charging with the press of a green "Start" button, and the relay counts time until charging stops and discharging occurs. The test ends when the time relay's indication light turns off. Note: The "Start" button should not be pressed repeatedly during testing.
The control panel manages the surge generator's charging time, initially set to 3 seconds with an output voltage of 1100V and surge current of 2.5kA. Adjustments can be made to reduce the output surge current by altering the charge time, accurate to 0.1 seconds.
The SPD Tester 888 is designed for on-site testing of Surge Protective Devices (SPD) and their components. It allows for simple operation to measure a wide range of Nominal Voltage and Leakage Current, with results displayed on an easy-to-read LCD. It features precise auto-sensing shutoff and audible function indication for accurate results.
