LTS.02 model Air-Oil Lubri-Cooler unit for drills and milling machines Doc.: SCT-LTS02-R2-E The Air-Oil Lubri-Cooler LTS.02 unit, is a pneumatically operated device designed for the lubrication and cooling of the tool and piece being machined on Vertical spindle machine tools, of the type: Bench drills, Column drills, Radial drills, Toolmakers milling machines, Universal milling machines, CNC milling machines and Machine tools in general. - Machines that require many processing changes, so consequentially re-positioning and tool changes. - The device adopts the principle of Minimal Lubrication, also known as MQL. In fact, it carries out its function by supplying compressed air and minimal (to the point of imperceptible) quantities of lubricating fluid. - All OilJet items are optimized for the use of Neat lubricating oils, normally synthetic vegetable based, in addition to the more well-known Water-in-oil emulsions. The LTS.02 item is a professional product, it is offered in a single "full optional" version and with Flextube: (53) 300 mm long (item LTS.02A30) or 390 mm (item LTS.02A39). - The device has been specially designed for frequent and "close" use by the operator. This is possible by the particular design of the Venturi system, located inside the Control unit: (51), and by the thin Dispensing nozzle: (28) with only 4 mm diameter. A combination that allows for a reduced atomisation of the fluid, particularly with the use of water-in-oil emulsions. - The wide versatility of the LTS.02 item, is enriched by several optional accessories which further increase its fields of use. (28) Pic. 1: EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION OF THE LTS.02A30 ITEM ON A COLUMN DRILL: - The fluid is sucked from the Reservoir: (22), mixed with the compressed air inside the Control unit: (51) and conveyed to the Dispensing nozzle: (28), through the Flex-tube: (53). SUPPLY DESCRIPTION: - This feature allows immediate "enabling - disabling" of the Flextube: (53), at the set working position. The same applies to the axial adjustment of the control unit, based on an effective friction system, which contributes to immediate re-positioning at each tool change and consequent adaptation of the working height. Pic. 2: The advanced Control unit: (51) inside it contains the Venturi system, used for mixing the Air-Oil fluid. - As the image shows, at its base there is a special Articulated joint: (52) with swing system selectable between: right +15°: (55) left - 15°: (54) or complete, with a total movement of 30°. The device with Control unit: (51) equipped by: - Two Air-Oil flow regulators: (10) - (11). - ON-OFF Pneumatic switch: (31), for a direct control. - Flex-tube with Articulated joint: (52) for a fast re-positioning. - The kit is completed by: - Support bracket: (20), for vertical adjustment of the control unit. - 1 liter Reservoir; (22), (optionally also available from 2 liters). - Air - Oil Supply tubes: (13) with suction valve and screw kit. - THE SUPPLY CONSISTS OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY REPRESENTED IN THE FIGURE, THEREFO

Useful situation for occasional uses, on mobile equipment and in all those cases in which fixing with drilling is not possible. - As illustrated, the magnetic base kit can be used in two different ways: With direct fixing to the control unit via slot insertion, or by interposing the Support bracket: (20), which guarantees further axial adjustment of the system. - The kit consists of the supply of the Magnet unit: (24) and related Screw kit: (57).
