LSG.01 model Air-Oil Lubri-Cooler unit for band saws disc saws and other machine tools Doc.: SCT-LSG01-R2-E The Air-Oil Lubri-cooler LSG.01 unit, is a pneumatically operated device, designed for the purpose of lubricating and cooling the tool and workpiece on: Band saws, Disc saws, and other Machine tools. - Machines whose characteristics require the supply of the lubricant-coolant fluid at welldefined points. This happens thanks to the special cylindrical nozzle, with a diameter of only 4 mm, designed to be inserted through a special hole if necessary. - The device adopts the principle of Minimal Lubrication, also known as MQL. In fact, it carries out its function by supplying compressed air and minimal (to the point of imperceptible) quantities of lubricating fluid. - All OilJet items are optimized for the use of Neat lubricating oils, normally synthetic vegetable based, in addition to the more well-known Water-in-oil emulsions. Pic. 1: EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION OF THE LSG.01B01 ITEM ON A BAND SAW: - The fluid is sucked from the reservoir, mixed with the compressed air inside the Part: (01) and conveyed to the delivery point: (28), through the Dispensing tube: (73), whose flexibility allows free movement of the band saw guide. - The LSG.01 model is produced in two versions (type A-B), differing in the standard equipment and configuration of the Mixing unit: (72) hereinafter referred to as the "Control unit". - Both versions are offered with two types of Dispensing tube-nozzle: Pic. 2 – Pic. 3. - The wide versatility of the LSG.01 series is enriched by several optional accessories which further increase its fields of use. Pic. 2: LSG.01A...: “Entry level” version type A, proposed with single Dispenser tube-nozzle: LSG.01A01 item, or double: LSG.01A02 item. - THE SUPPLY CONSISTS OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY REPRESENTED IN THE FIGURE, THEREFORE: - The device with Control unit: (72) of type A, so only equipped with the Air regulator: (10) and the Supply tubes: (74), including the Fluid suction valve. NOTE: this article has been designed for "minimal" and economical installations, in which the following basic characteristics are identified: - No adjustments are required with very low oil flow (there is no oil regulator). - The ON-OFF switch on the control unit is not necessary, so activation takes place by providing the compressed air supply directly (via a solenoid valve or other system). - The fixing bracket is not required, but a direct fixing. - The reservoir is not necessary, the use can be replaced with a simple bottle or other container.
