LMG.01 model Air-Oil Lubri-Cooler unit for lathes and other machine tools Doc.: SCT-LMG01-R2-E The Air-Oil Lubri-Cooler LMG.01 unit, is a pneumatically operated device designed for the lubrication and cooling of the tool and workpiece on Chip removal machines and Deformation machine tools. - The device adopts the principle of Minimal Lubrication, also known as MQL. In fact, it carries out its function by supplying compressed air and minimal (to the point of imperceptible) quantities of lubricating fluid. - All OilJet items are optimized for the use of Neat lubricating oils, normally synthetic vegetable based, in addition to the more well-known Water-in-oil emulsions. Pic. 1: EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION OF THE LMG.01B26 ITEM ON A DRILL PRESS: - The fluid is sucked from the reservoir and mixed with compressed air inside the particular Dispensing nozzle: (01) which gives it immediate reactivity to every minimum adjustment. - The LMG.01 model is produced in three versions (type A - B - C), diversified by specialization, standard equipment, configuration of the mixing unit (hereinafter referred to as "Control unit"): (56) and length of the Flex-tube: (71). - The wide versatility of the LMG.01 series, is enriched by several optional accessories which further increase its fields of use. It is proposed with Flex-tube: (71) in two size. - THE SUPPLY CONSISTS OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY REPRESENTED IN THE FIGURE, THEREFORE: - The Air-Oil mist device with Control unit: (50) equipped only with the Air regulator: (10) and the Air - Oil supply tubes: (13), including the fluid suction valve. This item has been designed for "minimal" and economical installations, in which the following basic characteristics are identified: 1 - No adjustments are required with very low oil flow (there is no oil regulator). 2 - The ON-OFF switch on the control unit is not necessary, so activation takes place by providing the compressed air supply directly (via a solenoid valve or other system). 3 - Axial adjustment of the control unit is not required (adjustable support bracket not supplied), but fixed anchoring is required. 4 - The reservoir is not necessary, it is expected to use a simple bottle or other container. NOTE: The type A control unit can also be upgraded into type B secondarily, with the simple implementation of the FL02950 kit, as is the case for the missing accessories, which can also be purchased separately. The control unit has two separate Air-Oil flow regulators: (10) - (11) and an ON-OFF Pneumatic switch: (12), for direct control of functions. - The kit is completed by: Support bracket: (20), for vertical adjustment of the control unit; 1 liter Reservoir; (22), (optionally also available from 2 liters); Supply tubes with suction valve and screw kit. - Thanks to the wide axial adjustment, guaranteed by the slotted support bracket (combined with a levelable anchoring plate), the LMG.01B... item is particularly suitable for use on vertical spindle machines, such as: Column drills; Radials drills; Drill-Mills and Milling machines in general. It is also used for "horizontal applications", such as on Parallel lathes etc.

- Please note that the axial adjustment of the Control unit: (56), on its Support bracket: (20), occurs by a friction system, thanks to a particular adjustable plug. - The item LMG.01B... is proposed with the same lengths of Flex-tube as type A, therefore 260 and 350 mm.
