Product catalog summary
Overview: This document provides comprehensive details on wall-mounted and built-in speed controllers for professional and industrial ventilation systems. These controllers manage single-phase induction motors in applications like odor extractors and air treatment systems.
Specifications: The document covers both analog and digital speed controllers, emphasizing their reliability, efficiency, and ease of installation. Inverter models are highlighted for their energy efficiency and noise reduction capabilities.
Analog Speed Controllers: Three models are discussed: FE229 (4.5A), FE263 (8A), and FE282 (10A). These use phase step techniques and feature rotary knobs for speed adjustment and internal trimmers for setting speed ranges.
Digital Speed Controllers: The FE230 (4.5A) and FE1023 (10A) models are noted for their microprocessor systems, offering precise speed control, remote control options, and environmental condition adjustments.
Inverter Models: Models such as FE1018, FE1019, FE1024, FE1025, FE1026, and FE1027 provide advanced motor control, energy efficiency, and protection features. They support motor control via 0-10V signals and can control lights and solenoid valves.
Built-in Controllers: These controllers (FEGR017, FEGR020, FEGR016, FE1008) are designed for professional air intake and ventilation, offering versatile control options suitable for rapid air flow changes.
Technical Features: Detailed technical specifications are provided for each model, including power supply requirements, maximum load capacities, and control features. The benefits of using inverters, such as reduced motor stress and energy savings, are discussed.
Conclusion: The document concludes by highlighting the flexibility, efficiency, and reliability of these speed controllers, making them ideal for various professional and industrial applications.
Device Functionality: The device can independently control the motor, allowing it to turn on and off and set two different speeds. It manages a 1.5A single-phase induction motor with a maximum power absorption of 350W. A solenoid valve is activated with the motor, and speed transitions are based on temperature values from two probes.
FEGR021 Controller: Designed for quick response to temperature changes, it uses a temperature sensor to control the motor and automatically selects maximum speed when the oven is opened. It can drive a 1.5A single-phase induction motor and control a solenoid valve, with flexible system options for additional load activation.

INVERTERS FOR SINGLE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTORS FOR PROFESSIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL AIR INTAKE AND VENTILATION The inverter is the technology that provides the best energy efficiency concerning the realization of variable flow systems: it is widely documented that the advantages resulting from the use of inverter are particularly marked in those plants in which the operating cycle is most varied. On the other hand the use of the inverters also allows to exploit particularly large speed intervals and operation dynamics, to decrease motor’s stress reducing the negative effects caused by acceleration and...

Advantages in the use of single-phase inverters with induction motors: • Possibility to control the speed efficiently and with wide dynamics: the inverter modulates the motor rotation speed according to the real extraction requirements. • Absence of in line phase shift between voltage (V) and current (I): power factor close to 1. Reduction of the wear rate of the mechanical components of the motor: the soft starts e soft stops reduce the stress on the motor and on the mechanical components (absence of inrush speed during the start phase). Starting with controlled power consumption. Reliability...
