FAI FILTRI has leveraged its extensive experience in industrial compressors to develop air flow regulators, specifically the SSRA series intake valves. These valves are designed for rotary screw compressors and are available in three sizes, suitable for compressors ranging from 3 to 30 kW with a flow range of 0.3 to 4.5 m3/min. The modular design allows for compatibility with a wide range of compressor models globally.
The SSRA series valves are constructed with anodized extruded aluminum bodies and die-cast flanges. The shutter features an anti-friction treatment, and the sealing gasket is vulcanized directly into the seat.
During load run, the solenoid valve is energized, causing the shutter to open due to the suction of the screw element. In the no-load run, the solenoid valve is not energized, allowing air from the separator tank to close the shutter, venting system air through a nozzle to depressurize the separator receiver. The venting phase's velocity is adjustable, and a closed-loop air recirculation is maintained to prevent vibrations. A non-return valve ensures oil does not enter the pneumatic control circuit during an emergency stop.
The dimensions for the SSRA series valves are provided for three models: SSRA10, SSRA20, and SSRA30, with specific measurements for each model.
