Product catalog summary
Introduction to UV/IR Sensors: UV/IR sensors are designed to provide high confidence against false alarms by evaluating two different spectral regions for flame detection. This ensures that common false triggers, such as flashlight reflections or steam trails, do not activate the alarm system. The immediate response to alarms due to these sensors allows for early-stage fire extinguishment, saving valuable time.
Inspection and Monitoring: When inspection flaps are opened, sensor groups are automatically disabled to prevent false alarms. Mechanical switches can be integrated with the central fire alarm system to monitor these flaps. If inspections exceed a pre-determined time, operators are notified.
Language and Display: The system supports up to four different languages, with zone descriptions displayed in plain text up to 40 characters in the selected language.
Integrated Press Extinguishment System: This system is crucial for protecting production processes involving flammable materials like wood chips, fibers, and oils. It detects fires early and activates extinguishment automatically or manually, ensuring fires are controlled at the source.
DuoStep 26 and Eco-Clean Features: The DuoStep 26 principle allows for early fire detection and intervention, with a visual detection range exceeding 25 meters. The Eco-Clean device ensures the optical lens remains clear without using compressed air, reducing maintenance costs.
Integrated Fire Protection Concept: The system integrates spark detection in exhaust pipes, allowing for early fire detection and reducing the amount of extinguishing water needed. This leads to shorter downtimes post-extinguishment.
Monitoring Capabilities: The system includes monitoring of top and bottom heat channels, as well as the press inlet, outlet, and frame, ensuring comprehensive fire protection.

BS 7 Press Protection-1

Instantaneous Extinguishment through the Use of UV/IR Sensors The UV/IR sensors offer high condence against false alarms due to the evaluation of two different spectral regions for ame detection. Flashlight with red-eye ash mode or trails of steam as they might arise when opening the press, for example, do not trigger an alarm. Due to the high condence against false alarms, all extinguishing measures are taken immediately without delay. Due to the high-quality UV/IR sensors, valuable time is saved during alarm, and the re is extinguished in the early stage. Fagus-GreCon Greten GmbH & Co. KG P.O. An inspection ap monitoring using mechanical switches can be connected directly to the central re alarm system. If inspection exceeds the time that is pre-determined in the central re alarm system, information is given to the operator. Language Selection Up to four different languages can be selected. The zone descriptions of the sensor and extinguishment groups are shown as plain text on the display with up to 40 characters in the selected national language. Press Extinguishment System Protects Your Production In the production processes of wood based panels, different ammable materials, such as chips, bres, glue, parafn or even oil, represent dangerous sources that can only be controlled by additional physical protective measures, such as ne water spray systems. Integrated Fire Protection Concept Using the integration of the extinguishing events, registered by the spark extinguishing system, in the total press protection concept, extinguishing measures can be taken quickly. The integration of spark detection in the exhaust pipes of the press inlet...
