Specifications The novasens HighTemp 530
Infrared Thermometer is designed for non-contact temperature measurement in high-temperature environments. It features a measuring range of +200°C to +2400°C for infrared and -64°C to +1370°C for thermocouple input. The spectral range is 1.1 - 3.7 μm, with an adjustable emissivity correction from 1.0 to 0.1. The device dimensions are 233 mm in length, 207 mm in width, and 60 mm in height, with a permissible moisture level of 95% non-condensing and an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +50°C. The distance to the measuring spot is 100:1, aided by a target laser, and the accuracy is +/- 2% for infrared and +/- 1% for thermocouple input. The reaction time is less than 1 second, and the display resolution is 0.1°C (from 1000°C = 1°C). The device is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries, with a battery life of approximately 40 hours in continuous operation, and weighs 475 grams. It conforms to RoHS and CE standards.
Features
The thermometer includes an input for a thermocouple sensor NiCr-Ni (Type K) and has a large temperature measuring range. It is equipped with tempered optics with a 100:1 spot size ratio, adjustable emissivity, a target laser, and a backlit display. The device offers various functions such as HOLD, MAX, MIN, DIF, AVG, and LOCK, along with acoustic and optical limit alarms (HI-LOW). It is switchable between °C and °F and features a large LCD for displaying measured values and limits.
Applications
The novasens HighTemp 530 is suitable for use in iron and steel production, forging and metal finishing processes, and high-temperature chemical processes. It provides precise optical resolution with various distance-to-spot size ratios, such as 3.2 inches at 320 inches and 1.2 inches at 100 inches.
