The TAG 10 proximity readers have a maximum reading distance of 10 cm.

Wiring and Cable Specifications

Connection Details for VIPER 400 and COBRA 600 Models

Both models use the TAG 10 proximity reader with similar wiring configurations:

• Connections labeled D, C, B+, and - for power and data lines.
• Additional signals such as IN-A, IN-B, ALARM, and BUZZER control lines.
• Specific pin assignments include M1, M, IS, O, SI, S, C, K, SS, N, +, 1, 2, G, N, D, D1, D0, B, U, Z for COBRA 600.

Buzzer Control

The buzzer is controlled via the red cable:

• When the buzzer is ON, the red cable is active.
• When the buzzer is OFF, the red cable is inactive.
