This new idea aroused immense enthusiasm in our technical and sales departments so that numerous measurements were carried out in various fields of application and the majority of all open questions could be answered rapidly. They aim at an annual production of 1.65 million tons of wood pellets with the Kahl plants from the year 2012 onwards. The development of the process for PET recycling has been underway for more than 2 years now. In cooperation with the company LCI, the Amandus Kahl representation in the USA in the field of chemistry, and a well-known U.S. company, a process was developed that allows the production of a granulate from shredded PET bottles which can be directly reused for the production of PET bottles.
