Product OverviewThe Maximus nitrogen generators provide a reliable and secure nitrogen supply from existing compressed air, eliminating the need for liquid nitrogen or high-pressure gas cylinders. Designed for continuous operation, they offer flow rates from a few liters per minute to over NM3/H with oxygen content residuals from 10 ppm to 5%. Controlled via HMI touch screen technology, they continuously monitor processes, pressures, inlet air dewpoint, and oxygen levels with alarms.

Operating ModeThe
nitrogen generator operates on Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) using pairs of extruded aluminum columns filled with carbon molecular sieve (CMS). Pre-treated compressed air flows through the CMS, adsorbing oxygen and trace gases, allowing nitrogen to pass. The system switches between separation and regeneration modes for continuous production.
