CO2 removal dryer
CO2 removal dryer
Product catalog summary
Benefits and Savings- Increased Laboratory Efficiency: The CO2 removal air dryer reduces the signal-to-noise ratio, enhancing instrument performance and protecting sensitive optics and air bearings from moisture. It is tested and approved by most TOC and FT-IR instrument manufacturers.
- Reliability: Condensate is vented with every dryer cycle, and a timed solenoid valve improves reliability by frequently exhausting small amounts of condensate, reducing the risk of float drain malfunction. Purge adjustment screws are located after fine dust filtration to prevent contamination and performance loss.
- Reduced Energy: The dryer is highly energy-efficient, eliminating external filters and reducing pressure drop by 60%.
Standard Features- CO2 content reduced to less than 1 ppm.
- Water dewpoint less than -70°C (-100°F).
- Outlet flow capacities up to 120 L/min.
- Compact and lightweight design.
- PLC control with clear display.
- Full repressurization to prevent pressure fluctuations.
- Quiet operation with noise levels below 60dB(a).
- Easy maintenance with a unique filtration and adsorption cartridge, requiring less than 15 minutes for servicing.
Technical Specifications- Utilizes pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology for automatic regeneration and integral pre and post filtration.
- Designed for laboratory environments, can be wall-mounted to save space.
- Manufactured within an ISO9001 quality system and CE marked.
- Minimum working pressure: 4 barg (58 psig); Maximum working pressure: 16 barg (232 psig).
- Electrical supply: 100 – 240VAC / 50 – 60Hz.
- Minimum inlet temperature: 1.5°C (34.7°F); Maximum inlet temperature: 50°C (122°F).

Additional Notes- Flow rates are based on an air inlet pressure of 7 barg (100 psig) and temperature of 21°C (70°F).
- For oil-lubricated compressors, a 0.01 micron coalescing filter and activated carbon filter are recommended to reduce hydrocarbons to <0.003ppm.
- A fine dust filter is necessary to achieve a particulate level of <0.01 micron.
