It is also suitable for enclosed worm gears operating under moderate to high speeds and temperatures. The oil is formulated from high-quality base stocks that resist oxidation, thermal degradation, and deposit formation. It provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, offers good sealing film strength, and is resistant to water washout. It is recommended for use with saturated and superheated steam up to 260ºC and is applicable in marine and industrial worm gear applications, couplings, and bearings.
