iWAP400 Zone 1 USB to Wi-Fi Adapter Connect PC’s to an 802.11b/g WLAN using a USB port Intrinsically Safe RF outputs for connection to wide range of antennas II 2(1) G Ex e mb [ia] IIC T4 -20°C to + 60°C IP66 USB 2.0 compatible Overview The iWAP400 is a zone 1 encapsulated and increased safety USB to Wi-Fi adapter. The Antenna RF output from the iWAP400 is intrinsically safe and therefore can be used with Extronics range of iANT200 antennas. The iWAP400 is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure making it suitable for mounting in a wide range of areas. The enclosure is epoxy coated and IP rated so can therefore be installed outdoors in harsh environments. The iWAP400 uses a Wi-Fi Certified transmitter module, which gives a maximum of 31.5mW of intrinsically safe output power and the device supports 802.11b/g standard. Used in conjunction with the iANT207 up to 80mW EIRP is available giving excellent wireless coverage. The iWAP400 is powered via a standard USB port, enabling devices such as PCs to communicate wirelessly with an 802.11b/g WLAN.
