Extreme Abrasives carries a line of spiral ribbed discs that are manufactured in Italy by a company that has been manufacturing them for 25 years. One of the products that we sell the most of are their SEMI-FLEXIBLE DISCS made with a red fiber backing to which multiple layers of silicon carbide grains are bonded to backings. SPIRAL DISCS 1 - STORAGE The discs must be kept in dry and aired rooms under the following conditions: • Temperature:15-25°C • Humidity: 50-65% • Discs should be kept in their original package until usage. Keep them away from heat sources or excess humidity. • Always be sure that they are stored in a vertical position and that the stacks are not too heavy as this could cause them to lose their shape. 2 -ASSEMBLY Before mounting a spiral ribbed disc to your grinder be sure to check it for cracks and deformations prior to operating the grinder. • The machine speed should correspond to the RPM indicated...
