The IRt/c.100A Base Model is designed for non-contact temperature measurement. It is suitable for both high emissivity (non-metal) and low emissivity (metal) surfaces, with a sensing range of 1000 to 5000°F (540 to 2760°C) for non-metals and 1500 to 5000°F (820 to 2760°C) for metals. If the target temperature is unknown, measure it with a reference, adjust the calibration screw to the desired reading, and replace the setscrew cover. Final adjustments can be made using the ZERO or OFFSET adjustments on readout devices. The calibration screw functions like a radio volume control, increasing the signal when turned clockwise.
