Linear bearings and units 1.1.2  Design and materials Linear ball bearings from Ewellix are designed for unlimited stroke applications. They consist of a plastic cage that contains the guiding elements, which are raceway plates and balls. Depending on the range and the size, linear bearings have different numbers of ball recirculations. Under the raceway plates, the steel balls are in the loaded zone.
