They consist of a plastic cage that contains the guiding elements, which are raceway plates and balls. Depending on the range and the size, linear bearings have different numbers of ball recirculations. Under the raceway plates, the steel balls are in the loaded zone. At the end of the raceway, the balls move into the unloaded zone and get circulated via the recirculation cap. When passing the opposite recirculation cap, they are moving back into the loaded zone....

The compact one has a shorter length and diameter for best fit into applications with limited space. The compact range is in line with ISO 10285, series 1.
