Brushless DC motors Brushless DC motors are perfectly suited to replace pneumatic cylinders in many applications. The motors provided by Ewellix are equipped with internal controllers and are very simple to set up. Connected to the power supply, the motors can be programmed by a computer with up to 14 motion profiles. The profiles can be activated by 2-4 binary inputs (PLC outputs or switches). The internal encoders enable for high positioning accuracy while the internal brake secures the system in case of a power loss.
