The OptiDrive Line is a high-performance edger optimizer system designed for industrial sawmills, capable of processing up to 70 boards per minute. It offers maximum recovery and reliability, making it ideal for demanding side board processing.
Specifications
The system can handle board lengths from 2400 to 6100 mm, widths from 90 to 550 mm, and thicknesses from 16 to 55 mm. It operates at a feed speed of up to 420 m/min, with an average processing rate of 50 boards per minute.
Functions and Components
The OptiDrive Line includes an S-shaped unscrambler, sensor-controlled board singulator, and a board turner. It features a transverse or linear scanning system for board measurement, utilizing CMOS cameras and lasers to analyze board profiles and wane. The system supports up to 8 different quality definitions per board thickness.
