Introduction The application needs for the use of a GWC controller and of AC synchronous servo-motors with 50 polar torques and integrated electronics of SM1A series. DFM solution for digital management of linear or rotary machine’s llers Components’ scheme • Motor type for filler’s movement: servo-motor with high number of poles and integrated electronics. Digital Management of llers ● Main characteristics: Product sensor √ Different mode of load measurement Incremental Encoder GWC Digital inputs DP / Devicenet √ Product presence (no product no lling) √ Compact size Remote Technical Support • Homing function of the filler: available in different modes: - homing sensor reading; - load measurer reading; - mechanical stop control. • Presence of the product function: it can be activated at a specific angle of the carousel. If the product hasn’t been detected (GWC input), the filler stops until the following carousel orientation. √ Fast and easy conguration • Cam profile of the filler: the profile of electronic cam can be set up by a specific software interface or directly from PLC/ HMI -> GWC data area. √ Programmable dosing prole • Full speed of the filler’s motor: each filler can reach a 1500 rpm speed. √ Remote support on Web √ Easy integration with machine’s PLC (if required) ELETTRONICA PER AUTOMAZIONE INDUSTRIALE Via del Commercio, 2/4 -9/11 Loc. Here below are described the characteristics of the fillers control solution Digital Fillers Management: • Number of controllable fillers: can be created and controlled systems from 1 to 30 fillers. GWC controller can operate as isolated standalone unit or interface with machine’s PLC through the following bus: • Profibus DP • Devicenet • Modbus RTU • Ethernet The whole system can be configurated in a fast and simple way thanks to specific configuration software for Windows operation systems (DFM Configurator) supplied by Ever Elettronica and integrated in IDE T.R.I.P.O.S.
