Description
The PTE-FCL is an optional module designed to enhance the PTE-100-C's capabilities, particularly for testing complex relays requiring variable voltage and phase shifting, such as directional, single-phase impedance, and distance relays. It also supports frequency relay testing in the 40 - 70 Hz range. The PTE-FCL is integrated into the PTE-100-C's cover, allowing for easy upgrades. It uses switching amplifier technology to deliver constant power from 70 V to 140 V. A single rotary encoder with coarse and fine modes is used for adjustments, and the PTE-100-C's display shows output parameters, eliminating the need for additional metering elements.
