KITE AIRHOOD TECHNICAL DATA SHEET Kite is a new, innovative respiratory protection concept. The motor unit is equipped with a particulate filter, battery, and fan, monitoring air flow with an electronic controller. The motor unit attaches to the visor with a quick connection clip. On donning the ultra-lightweight unit, and switching on, the wearer is provided with a cool flow of filtered air. Kite software warns the user when the filter needs to be changed and when the battery requires charging. As a loose-fitting respirator, Kite Airhood is suitable for users with facial hair and does not require face fit testing.
