Spi-Glass Washer™ 1500 Photovoltaic Glass Washer he Spi-Glass Washer™ 1500 washes, rinses, and dries flat glass in preparation for lamination, inspection, or other production operations. The 3-stage machine washes, rinses, and dries the glass as it moves over non-marking rubber coated rollers. Rotating top and bottom wash brushes gently clean the glass while the pumping system sprays a hot water and detergent solution. The system consists of a detergent tank, pump, immersion heater, thermostat, and spray manifolds. The two cycle rinse, each with a pair of rotating brushes, uses fresh plant water from the factory water supply which in turn is directed through the factory drain. The dryer consists of a centrifugal blower that delivers high velocity air through flexible tubing to four air knives. Replaceable air filters purify the blower air on intake. The conveyor carries the glass sheets through the stages on rubber coated rollers to safeguard the glass from marks and scratches.
