ETEL has developed high-end position controllers and a proprietary communication bus, TRANSNET, to ensure high-performance network communication for motion control systems. The ULTIMET motion controller is the master of this bus, capable of managing up to 63 axes with real-time command management and nanosecond synchronization.

Advanced Features
The ULTIMET controller enhances machine performance without detailed timing management. It supports complex motion profiles and 3D mapping for precision. A Gantry Acceleration Feedforward feature improves throughput by reducing settling times.

Applications
ULTIMET is used in various industries, including wafer process control, lithography, photovoltaic, and flat panel display manufacturing.
