Product Overview: DIELECTRIC 1 Boots are electrically insulated footwear designed to protect workers from electric shock when working near live installations up to 7,500V AC and 11,250V DC. These boots are made from dielectric rubber and are individually tested for safety.
Compliance and Testing: The boots comply with EN 50321-1:2018 class 1 standards. They undergo a dielectric test under 10,000V AC on 100% of the boots, with an optional DC test available. The AC test is conducted up to 70mm from the top of the boot, extendable to 120mm for DC tests. The leakage current is maintained below 5mA, surpassing the standard requirement of 10mA.
Additional Standards: The boots also meet EN ISO 20347 OBE HRO SRC standards, which include basic requirements (OB), heel energy absorption (E), and contact heat resistance (HRO). They comply with EN 13287 for sole slip resistance (SRC) on ceramic and steel floors.
Sizes and Specifications: Available in sizes ranging from FR 36 to 50 (UK 3 to 14). Specific certificates are available upon request for sizes 3 and 4.5. The boots feature the ATS sole® design and are available in amber color. For size 8, the outside height is 370mm, and the weight is 1910g per pair. The elastomer is a blend with natural rubber.
