Escomatic Concept: Unlike conventional lathes, Escomatic lathes utilize a unique concept where the material, either coil stock or bar, remains stationary while the cutting tools rotate around it. This design is suitable for manufacturing small to large lot sizes, offering high performance and cost savings.

Material Feed: Materials are fed into the machine from coils (up to 8mm diameter) or bars (up to 12mm diameter). Coils require a standalone straightening unit, while bars can use a commercial bar feeder. The CNC-controlled Z1-axis and feed collet manage material movement.

Machining Units:

Back Machining: The DUA unit features six axial positions for tools and a counter spindle C1 with speeds up to 9,000 min-1. It supports drilling, tapping, threading, and milling.
Turning: Utilizes four turning tools controlled by X1 and Y1 axes, with tool head speeds up to 8,000 min-1.
Front Machining: The DUF unit mirrors the back machining capabilities with a counter spindle C2 and similar tool configurations.
