The first name in sample preparation equipment FLEXIPROOF 1 00/UV The RK FlexiProof 100 offers a high speed, operator-friendly machine for the production of proofs using water, solvent or UV Flexographic inks. It is an essential tool for all those involved in the manufacture and use of flexo inks. Ideal for quality control testing to ensure consistency of performance of inks and substrates over time, presentation samples, printability of substrates, R&D including product and commercial viability, and computer colour matching data. The FlexiProof 100 eliminates the need to use a production line printing press for pilot runs, as the machine is a scaled down but exact version of a full sized flexo press. Print samples of the FlexiProof 100 The FlexiProof 100 is ideal for both ink manufacturers and printers and can be used for the following, with all of the attendant benefits: • Printers - eliminates press down time by colour matching off press. • Inks - computer colour matching, database and sample preparation. • Can be used to determine performance properties i.e.wear resistance, scratch resistance, flexibility, durability, gloss, etc. • Will print on all typical commercial substrates - paper, board, film, foil. • Minimises expensive on-press waste production, boosts customer confidence and minimises customer returns.

Fit substrate (105mm x 297mm) to impression roll using the self-adhesive substrate strip. Set printing speed up to 99m/min. Apply ink using a disposable pipette. Side dams fitted at each end of the doctor blade provide a reservoir holding sufficient ink for producing multiple proofs when required. First the anilox roller accelerates to print speed and rotates 3 times to distribute the ink. Then the plate and impression rollers rotate through one revolution to produce a proof. Clean the blade, blade...
