Product catalog summary
Overview: The FlexiProof 100 UV is a versatile sample preparation machine designed for ink manufacturers and printers. It is particularly useful for color matching, performance testing, and minimizing waste in printing processes.
Benefits: The machine allows for off-press color matching, reducing press downtime. It supports computer color matching and sample preparation, and can test various performance properties such as wear resistance and gloss. It is compatible with multiple substrates including paper, board, film, and foil, and complies with ISO 2834-2 standards.
Main Features: The FlexiProof 100 offers quick-change anilox rolls, a swing-in doctor blade with safety cover, and a print speed of up to 99m/min. It supports single or multiple sheet printing and is PLC controlled. The print area is up to 240x75mm, and it is easy to use and clean.
Operation: The operation involves selecting and fitting the required anilox roll, attaching the substrate, applying ink, and producing a proof. Cleaning involves using a suitable solvent for the blade and anilox roll.
Technical Data: The machine requires a minimum of 230 volts for the UV power pack. It supports various anilox rollers with different cell counts and volumes. The FlexiProof 100 UV variant includes optional LED UV curing, enhancing its capabilities for simulating UV printing and addressing printability issues.
Specifications: The substrate size is 125mm x 105mm with a maximum printing area of 90mm x 80mm. The UV lamp has a peak wavelength of 310-370 Nm. The machine supports solvent-based, water-based, and UV inks, and requires a power supply of 230V minimum voltage.

Technical Description Model 630-UV-1

The first name in sample preparation equipment FLEXIPROOF 1 00/UV The RK FlexiProof 100 offers a high speed, operator-friendly machine for the production of proofs using water, solvent or UV Flexographic inks. It is an essential tool for all those involved in the manufacture and use of flexo inks. Ideal for quality control testing to ensure consistency of performance of inks and substrates over time, presentation samples, printability of substrates, R&D including product and commercial viability, and computer colour matching data. The FlexiProof 100 eliminates the need to use a production line printing press for pilot runs, as the machine is a scaled down but exact version of a full sized flexo press. Print samples of the FlexiProof 100 The FlexiProof 100 is ideal for both ink manufacturers and printers and can be used for the following, with all of the attendant benefits: • Printers - eliminates press down time by colour matching off press. • Inks - computer colour matching, database and sample preparation. • Can be used to determine performance properties i.e.wear resistance, scratch resistance, flexibility, durability, gloss, etc. • Will print on all typical commercial substrates - paper, board, film, foil. • Minimises expensive on-press waste production, boosts customer confidence and minimises customer returns.

Select and fit the required anilox roll. Details of standard anilox rolls are on the back page. Fit substrate (105mm x 297mm) to impression roll using the self-adhesive substrate strip. Set printing speed up to 99m/min. Apply ink using a disposable pipette. Side dams fitted at each end of the doctor blade provide a reservoir holding sufficient ink for producing multiple proofs when required. First the anilox roller accelerates to print speed and rotates 3 times to distribute the ink. Then the plate and impression rollers rotate through one revolution to produce a proof. Clean the blade, blade...
