Purpose and Application:
The motorised film applicator is designed for creating uniform films, determining the relationship between wet and dry film thickness, and producing identical samples. It is particularly useful in the lacquer and paint industry, as well as in research and development projects in fields like solar cells, fuel cells, and medical technology.

Design and Function:
The basic unit is a compact testing instrument with a foil keyboard and microprocessor-controlled step motor drive for precise and repeatable film application. Key features include a variable application path up to 400 mm, programmable start position, adjustable speed (10-100 mm/s), and automatic quick return. The 510 Basic-V model includes an ejector for vacuum suction.

Accessories:
Various accessories are available to meet specific application needs, including glass plates, plastic foils, contrast charts, and different models of film applicators with varying widths. The basic unit requires these accessories for functionality.
