Principle of Water Jet Cutting
Water jet cutting involves projecting water at high pressure (600 to 900 m/s) to cut materials. The water is compressed using a high-pressure pump, directed to an accumulator, and then propelled through a nozzle with a diameter of 0.10 to 0.4 mm, resulting in cuts ranging from 0.35 to 1.5 mm.
