Principle Water jet cutting basic principle is to project water at high pressure (600 to 900m/s) for cut the material. Water, compressed by way of high pressure pump is then directed to an accumulator and then propelled through a nozzle of 0.10 to 0.4 mm diameter, which causing the cut from 0.35 to 1.5 mm/ Advantages : • No direct contact with the piece, no cutting force, no deformation of materials, speed and quality cutting. • Access to complex areas and shapes (reduce size of water jet head and its support). • Technologie adapted to all types of materials : ceramics, carbide, compound...
