Stack gas sampling system Model SEC

Product catalog summary
Overview: The SECTM BOX is a specialized sampling system designed to prevent the loss of condensable gases during stack gas sampling. It features a permeation-based drying system that eliminates the need for a condenser, making it suitable for highly soluble gases like HCl, SO2, and NO2.
Exclusive Features:
  • Double-stage particulate filtration in the sampling probe.
  • Permeation-based drying system to avoid loss of soluble gases.
  • Direct span gas injection for complete system calibration.
  • Automatic backflush to reduce maintenance.
  • Unheated line transfer of clean, dry samples up to 100 meters.
  • Various probe options based on process conditions.
  • Optional built-in temperature and velocity sensors.
  • Heated probe with customizable materials and lengths.
Main Applications: The system is applicable in waste incineration, sludge incineration, gas turbines, power plants, boilers, paper mills, and industries like glass, cement, petrochemistry, and chemicals.
Principle of Operation: The system uses an ejector to draw sample gas from the stack, which passes through a primary filter and a heated tube. It then goes through a fine filter and a double-stage permeation dryer before being transported to a remote analyzer.
Technical Specifications:
  • Max. dew point: 75°C (45% H2O).
  • Primary filter: 20 µm; Fine filter: 0.5 µm.
  • Probe temperature: 100°C to 250°C.
  • Sample flow rate: 20 l/h.
  • Dimensions: 400 x 600 x 200 mm; Weight: 15 kg.
  • Power supply: 230 V/50Hz or 110V/50-60Hz; Consumption: 500 VA.
  • Operating temperature: -10°C to +45°C (up to 50°C with Vortex cooler).
  • Flange options: DN100/PN20 or 4’’/150 lbs.
Utilities and Options:
  • Instrument air: 5 bar minimum, 2 Nm3/h.
  • Options include DTP measurement, NH3 removal device, sliding flange, Vortex cooler, and probe shutter.
Special Versions: Available for periodic controls with features like a primary filter, stainless steel tube, and heated flexible line.
Probe Types: Probes are available for different processes, including wet, corrosive, and high-temperature environments, with various materials like PTFE, Hastelloy, and stainless steel.

Stack gas sampling system Model SEC-2

Emissions Monitoring Systems Stack gas sampling system SECTM The sample gas, sucked from the stack by means of an ejector, crosses a first primary particulate filter (20 µm), and is directed to the “SEC” box via a heated tube located inside of the sampling probe. The sample gas then passes through a fine particulate filter (0.5 µm), and through a high performance double-stage permeation dryer. At the outlet of the SEC box, the clean and dried sample can be transported to the remote analyzer via an unheated sample line. A solenoid valve allows the backflush of the sample line at regular frequency...
