Tension insulators are even lighter than the previous SDI80 series but still very strong and durable in every day use. SDI90 insulators fulfill the requirements of IEC 61109. The sheds of the insulators are made of highly hydrophobic silicon rubber. The core is made of corrosion resitant fiber glass rod and the end fittings are made of hot-dip galvanized steel....
