Composite line post insulators
Ensto has introduced new composite line post insulators, models SDI82, SDI83, and SDI84, designed for attachment to crossarms using included bolts. These insulators are engineered for durability across various weather conditions.
The insulators feature a two-component silicone coating that provides excellent dielectric strength and resistance to UV radiation and harsh weather. The upper fitting is made from insulating plastic material (PA6-GF30) to reduce electric field concentration.
Insulators can be equipped with ST114 stringing pulleys to facilitate line erection.
- Insulating upper fittings protect conductors by eliminating partial discharges, extending the line's lifetime.
- No radio-frequency disturbances due to the absence of partial discharges.
The insulators comply with IEC 61952:2008 and IEC 60060-1:2010 standards.
- SDI82, SDI83, SDI84 models have a breaking load of 12.5 kN and varying creepage distances and withstand voltages.
- Each model is packaged individually, with specific dimensions and weights provided.
