PTW-series Pneumatic Torque Wrenches

PTW-series Pneumatic Torque Wrenches

Product catalog summary
Overview: The PTW-Series Pneumatic Torque Wrenches are designed for applications requiring speed and precision, such as track maintenance. They feature high-speed continuous rotation for constant torque output and a low friction planetary gearbox to minimize wear.
Productivity: These wrenches offer high-speed continuous rotation, ensuring constant torque output. The design minimizes wear, extending the tool's uptime.
Safety: The ergonomic, low vibration design reduces operator fatigue and the risk of vibration-related injuries. The low noise air motor provides quiet performance suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Convenience: The tools come with a standard reaction arm, with a variety of custom arms and accessories available. They are available with or without a Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) and include a unique calibration certificate.
Applications: Typical applications include oil and gas (pipe flanges, valves), power generation (turbine bolts), and mining (track maintenance).
Specifications: The PTW-Series offers a nominal torque output of 8135 Nm and a square drive range of 1 to 1½ inches. The standard package includes a torque wrench with a calibration certificate, an FRL, and a 3-meter air hose.
Operational Requirements: The air source must be regulated to 8.3 bar and capable of providing at least 85 m³/h at 6.9 bar. A separate ½ inch hose is required to connect the FRL to the air supply.
Accessories: Enerpac offers a full line of accessories, including reaction arms and heavy-duty impact sockets. Optional accessories include extended drives and various reaction arms for different applications.
