FIN900 Three Phase Choke

Product catalog summary
Application Guide Overview: The FIN900 and FIN930 common mode choke series are designed to mitigate high-frequency interference caused by pulse wave modulation in power transistors. These chokes help in smoothing out fast voltage rise times and reducing radio frequency electromagnetic interference without significant voltage drops. They are typically installed between the inverter/controller and the motor, with a recommendation to use shielded cables grounded at both ends to enhance performance.
Recommended Applications: These chokes are particularly suitable for servo drive applications and variable frequency drives with closed-loop systems, effectively reducing conducted interference in the 1 to 3 MHz frequency range.
Electric Characteristics: The chokes operate at a nominal voltage of 0/500 VAC with a frequency of 50/60 Hz. They are available in various case types, including 1C, 2C, C, and V, with different configurations for 3-phase systems.
Motor Protection Specifications: The document provides detailed specifications for the FIN900 series, including nominal current ratings at 40°C, inductance (L1), resistance (R), and power loss (W) for different models. For example, the .010.V model has a nominal current of 10A, inductance of 1.5 mH, resistance of 12 mΩ, and power loss of 6W.
Mechanical Dimensions: The chokes are available in various mechanical configurations, including metallic and cylindrical cases. Dimensions and torque specifications for different models are provided, such as the .010.V model with dimensions 58x86x44 mm and a weight of 2 kg.
Connection Details: Detailed connection specifications for metallic cases are provided, including torque values for different screw sizes (e.g., M4, M5, M6, M8, M10) and corresponding dimensions for each model.

FIN900 Three Phase Choke-1

APPLICATION GUIDE The FIN900 and FIN930 common mode choke series are used to reduce high frequency interference caused by pulse wave modulation of power transistors. Chokes round out the fast voltage rise time and reduce high frequency (radio frequency) electromagnetic interference radiated into the environment without appreciable line voltage drops. Chokes are usually connected between the inverter, or the controller, and the motor. It is recommended to run a shielded cable between the choke and the motor with the shield connected to ground at both ends. This configuration combines the effect of the inductance of the coil and the distributed capacity of the cable shield. An advantage to using a choke installed between the controller and the motor is the reduction of conducted interference emitted from the device towards the main and characterized by frequencies between 1 and 3 MHz. Enerdoor common mode choke series is recommended for servo drive applications and variable frequency drives with close loop systems.
