What is induction cap sealing? induction cap sealing or heat sealing, as it is widely known, is a very simple and straightforward process. the container is filled and a cap (fitted with a foil liner) is applied. this heat melts the sealing material on the foil liner. the capped container then passes under the induction cap sealer where a controlled electromagnetic field transfers energy to the foil in the cap, creating heat. once this sealant cools, the liner adheres to the neck of the container – this is known as an hermetic (air tight) seal.
