Application description: The ultrasonic system Nivopuls indicates the minimum and maximum limits in the CIP buffer tanks from the outside of the tanks. The level in the tank should not exceed a special maximum, because of the problem of overspilling. The minimum protection reduces the danger of to low level in the CIP tank. Furthermore the minimum protection reduces the risk of dry running of the CIP feeding pump. Process conditions: Media: cleaning agents, water Pressure: up to 4 bar Temperature: 40 - 90°C Highlights: • High level of safety The function of the sensor nivopuls is based on the ultrasonic principle and has no influence due to external vibrations, foam and other process conditions, like pressure and temperature. Therefore the nivopuls is the best choice as a level switch for the CIP unit. • No medium contact Due to the principle the nivopuls has no contact with the medium and is therefore the best choice for hygienic applications. • No special maintenance necessary For a safe and reliable measurement no special maintenance is necessary for the sensor.
