Application description: The hydrostatic pressure transmitter Deltapilot S is used for continuous measurement of the level in the CIP tanks. The level in the tank should not exceed a special maximum because of the risc of overspilling. The Deltapilot S is able to calculate level in the CIP tanks and the volume inside the tank in liters or hectoliters. Process conditions: Media: cleaning agents, water Pressure: ambient Temperature: 40 - 90°C Meas. range: 0 ... 10 m Highlights: • Absolute safe measurement in the CIP area The Deltapilot S uses a total covered measuring cell - Contite - and a cover made out of stainless steel, which gives best security against the used cleaning mediums. • Variable adaption of the pressure transmitter The Deltapilot S can be adapted flush mounted at the vessels with a variety of process connections. • Universal Sensor Additional to the level and content measurement the Deltapilot S is able to show further values, like the actual temperature in the tank or the pipe. With the link via a fieldbus Profibus PA and the Profiles 3.0, calculated values from the PLC kann be shown direct at the display of the Deltapilot, like the content in the tank in hl.
