Application description: The temperature sensor TST 14 measures the temperatures in the wort pipes of the wort cooler. After the brewing process the wort has still a temperature of about 70°C. For a fermentation process the wort has to be cooled down to a temperature of about 5-10°C with the help of a wort cooler. The temperature measurement at the in- and outgoing wort line with TST 14 is necessary for a optimized cooling control. Process conditions: Media: Wort Pressure: up to 4 bar Temperature: -2 ... 90°C Highlights: • Fast response time The temperature sensor TST 14 is optimised to a very fast response time. The sensor is also available with reduced tip and short lenght. • Variable adaption of the conductivity sensors A wide range of process connections are available for an easy connection of the sensor in the pipe or in the tank. Therefore clamp, dairy, Tuchenhagen and APV connections are available. • Universal output signals The temperature sensors are available with different kind of electronic inserts. Fieldbus protocols like Profibus PA are also available.
