Description

The Endevco model 752A is a lightweight piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics, featuring IEEE P1451.4 Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS) capabilities. It offers a wide dynamic range and frequency response, maintaining excellent phase characteristics across its operating frequency range. The model is designed for high shock survivability and can withstand rough handling in laboratory environments. It includes a 10-32 top connector and a hex mounting base with a 10-32 mounting stud. The accelerometer can be powered by any signal analyzer with a 2 to 10 mA constant current supply and features Endevco’s PIEZITE® Type P-8 crystal element. It is available in two versions: 752A12 (100 mV/g) and 752A13 (1V/g).

Specifications
  • Dynamic Characteristics: Range of ±50g for 752A12 and ±5g for 752A13, with voltage sensitivity of 100 mV/g and 1000 mV/g respectively.
  • Frequency Response: Amplitude response of ±5% from 1 to 8000 Hz and ±1dB from 0.5 to 10,000 Hz.
  • Output Characteristics: Positive output when acceleration is in the direction of the sensitive axis, with a DC output bias voltage of +7 to +14 Vdc.
  • Environmental Characteristics: Operating temperature range from -4°F to +185°F (-20°C to +85°C) and storage range from -40°F to +257°F (-20°C to +125°C).
  • Physical Characteristics: Weighs 0.45 oz (13 gm) with a titanium inner/outer case.
Calibration

Calibration data traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is supplied, ensuring high precision and accuracy.

Accessories
  • Included: 3061A-120 Cable assembly, 10 ft; 2981-12 Mounting stud, 10-32, hex I.D.
  • Optional: Various mounting studs and signal conditioners, including the 133, 2775B, 2793, 4416B, 4999, 6634C, and the Oasis 2000 system.
Notes
  • Phase deviation from unit to unit is ±2°.
  • 21 Vdc minimum must be available to ensure full-scale operation at temperature extremes.
  • Shock pulses may excite transducer resonance, potentially causing temporary zero shift.
