Product catalog summary
Overview: The Endevco Model 35B is an ultra-miniature, adhesive-mounted triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics, designed for measuring vibration on very small objects. It features a compact size of 0.235 inches cubed and a lightweight design of 0.55 grams.
Specifications: The accelerometer is available in three sensitivity options: 2.5 mV/g, 5 mV/g, and 10 mV/g. It operates using Endevco's Piezite Type P-8 ceramic crystal in a radial shear model, ensuring stable output sensitivity over time. The device includes an internal hybrid signal conditioner and uses a two-wire system for power and signal transmission.
Key Features: The Model 35B is the world's smallest triaxial IEPE accelerometer, featuring anodized aluminum housing for case isolation, a three-foot integral cable with a 4-pin connector, and compliance with EU directives for low voltage and EMC.
Performance Characteristics: The accelerometer's dynamic characteristics include a nominal range of ±2800 g to ±700 g depending on the model, with a frequency response up to 8000 Hz. It has a transverse sensitivity of ≤5% and amplitude linearity of <2%.
Electrical Characteristics: The device requires a supply voltage of +24 to +28 Vdc and a supply current of +3.5 to +4.5 mA. It features a DC output bias voltage range of +7.5 to +10.5 Vdc at room temperature.
Environmental Characteristics: The Model 35B operates within a temperature range of -67°F to +257°F and is epoxy sealed for non-hermetic applications. It can withstand a shock limit of 3000 g pk.
Mounting and Accessories: The accelerometer is mounted using adhesive, with cyanoacrylate adhesives recommended for temporary applications. A removal tool is included for safe detachment. Optional accessories include cable assemblies and signal conditioners.
Compliance and Reliability: The product is compliant with European Union directives and bears the CE Mark. Meggitt Sensing Systems ensures high reliability through stringent quality control and continuous product improvement.

Isotron® accelerometer • World's smaUest triaxial IEPE • Anodized aluminum housing providing case isolation • Miniature, 0.235 inch cube • Three sensitivity options • Three-foot integral cable STANDARD TOLERANCE INCHES [MILLIMETERS] Endevco model 35B is an ultra-miniature, adhesive mounted triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics. Its tiny size, 0.235 inch cube, and light weight, 0.55 grams (sensor only], make it ideal for measuring vibration on very small objects. The 35B has an integral three-foot cable that terminates to a single threaded V<i-28 4-pin connector. The 35B is available in three sensitivities - 2.5 The model 35B features Endevco's Piezite Type P-8 ceramic crystal operating in radial shear model which exhibits excellent output sensitivity stability over time. The accelerometer incorporates an internal hybrid signal conditioner in a two-wire system, which transmits its low impedance voltage output through the same cable that supplies the required constant current power. The case is isolated from the mounting surface by an anodized coating over the accelerometer's aluminum housing. A removal tool is included with the accelerometer to ensure proper removal in the field. This product is fully compliant to the European Union's Low Voltage Directive, 2006/95/EC and EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and is TVPICAL FREQUENCY RESPONSE, MODEL 35B Meggitt Sensing Systems Our measurement product competencies: Piezoelectric accelerometers I Piezoresistive accelerometers I Isotron accelerometerE I Variable capacitance accelerometers I Pressure transducers Acoustic sensors I Electronic instruments I Calibration systems I Shakers I Modal hammers I Cable assemblies extreme environme
