DEX Series Ex-Proof Brakes
Designed for hazardous environments (Zone 1 and Zone 21), the DEX Series brakes feature IP66 protection, explosion-proof design, and easy installation. They are available in seven sizes (4 Nm to 160 Nm), with asbestos-free lining, Class H coil insulation, and optional manual release.

Working Principle
The brakes use a magnetic field to release pressure springs, allowing free spindle movement. When braking is needed, the magnetic field is removed, and the springs clamp the lining to stop rotation.
