Intelligent Manufacturing How an Automotive Manufacturer Enhanced Smart Production with ONERugged Digital Signages and MDM System A leading automotive manufacturer in China faced numerous challenges while advancing its smart factory initiatives. Managing the complex array of workstations, safeguarding production data, and ensuring continuous, reliable operation of equipment were major hurdles. The company needed to protect sensitive data on each workstation, ensuring that information wouldn't be compromised if devices were lost or accessed by unautho- rized individuals. In addition, as automation became more prevalent, real-time production data and accuracy became critical for improving efficiency. The question was how to leverage intelligent systems to boost productivity while enhancing data security in a rapidly advancing manufacturing environment. To address these issues, the client introduced ONERugged D10R digital signages, coupled with a Mobile Device Management Execution System (MES). The D10R were used for smart attendance tracking, allowing management to access real-time data with accurate, error-free results. MDM Primary functionalities: WiFi Transmission Remote Control Data Collection system enabled centralized management of all worksta- tions, ensuring uniform configuration and reducing downtime by facilitating remote control of equipment. Seamless integration with the MES system allowed production guidelines to be distributed electronically in real-time before scheduling, streamlining operations and significantly reducing errors in the production process.
