A green light emitting diode indicates when a yarn is moving, The G*w weft sensor will detect single and double weft insertions, and also detect if too many wefts are inserted. ■ Features Low, rounded housing- » Short distance between pivot point and eyelet. » High sensitivhy to weft yarn movements. - High immunity to compressed air and electrical interfթrence. Allows a large yarn angle through the eyelets wrthout touching the aluminium housing. Օ Piezoelectric sensor with proven reliability. ■ Future possibilits -flash memory for potential future upgrading. CAN bus interface, whkh allows: ■ Individual setting for each eyelet for optimsed sensing performance. - Possibility of stat鉮stcs. Automatic gain setting. Technical spcification Eyelet diameter 6A mm Power supply 24 V DC ±25% Current consumptlon < 125 mA Connection DB9 maie Gain/se nsrtWtty setting 0-6.5 VDC extemal Current logk signal no weft yarn moving < 0.1 mA 1 weft yarn moving 2.73 mA ±8% 2 weft yarns moving 5.46 mA ±8% 3 Of more weft yams moving 8.19 mA ±8% ■Replacementofprevioussensors TheG^w weft sensor can replace E2016, E2060and E2071 weft sensors. E2O70, without gain potentiometer and used only for erther single or double weft insertion, can also be reptaced by theG^w. Eltex can supply adapter connecters and adapter cables. Please mention the part number to replace. The movement of the weft yarn is best detected if the yarn angle is 10-15° through the eyelet.
