High Speed Data Acquisition Cards

Product catalog summary
Overview: The TPCE Data Acquisition Cards by Elsys are high-speed, high-precision digitizer modules designed for modular measurement systems. They utilize the PCIe interface and offer analog-to-digital converter options from 2 to 240 MHz. Available in 4 or 8 channel configurations, these cards can be single-ended or differential.
Card Family Overview: The TPCE cards are available in two editions: the standard TPCE and the TPCE-LE (Light Edition). The TPCE features a PCIe x4 interface for higher data throughput, while the TPCE-LE uses a PCIe x1 interface. Both versions support sample rates from 2 to 240 MHz with resolutions of 14 or 16 bits. The TPCE-LE has a reduced input range compared to the TPCE.
Specifications: TPCE cards support up to 64 input channels when synchronized and can include an IEPE/ICP option for sensor integration without additional power supply. They are suitable for triggered events or high-speed data logging, with maximum data throughput of 160 MS/s for TPCE and 40 MS/s for TPCE-LE.
Product Variants: TPCE and TPCE-LE cards come in various configurations, including different sample rates and channel numbers. They can be configured as single-ended or differential, with mode switching via software.
Technical Specifications: The TPCE cards offer input ranges from ±50 mV to ±50 V, input impedance options, and software-switchable AC/DC coupling. They feature low pass and anti-aliasing filters, advanced triggering options, and autocalibration for gain and offset adjustments.
Usage and Applications: Designed for use in standard PCs and TraNET FE devices, these cards are suitable for high-speed data acquisition and precision measurements in research and industrial environments.
Detailed Specifications:

5. Range and Offset Error: Max 0.1%, typically 0.03% after autocalibration.
6. Offset Drift: Max (0.0100% + 0.1 mV) per °C, typically (0.0050% + 0.03 mV) per °C, compensated by autocalibration.
7. Input Noise: Varies with sample rate, e.g., < 0.250 mVrms at max sample rate.
8. Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR): Varies with sample rate, e.g., 58 dB at max sample rate.

High Speed Data Acquisition Cards-1

Data Acquisition Card Elsys Data Acquisition Cards are high speed high precision digitizer modules. Based on the PCIe Interface, a modular measurement system can be build up. Different Analog to Digital converters variants from 2 to 240 MHz are available for best fitting any high speed application. In addition, Elsys Data Acquisition Cards are available in 4 or 8 channel and as single ended or differential variants. The TPCE cards can be installed in standard PCs, but they are also used in TraNET FE devices. Several measuring cards can be synchronized to implement devices with up to 64 input channels. Elsys AG Mellingerstrasse 12 CH-5443 Niederrohrdorf Switzerland Phone: +41 56 496 01 55 Email: [email protected] www.elsys-instruments.com Optionally, the measuring cards can be equipped with the IEPE/ICP option to use corresponding pressure or acceleration sensors without a preamplifier or power supply. Depending on the application, the measurement cards can be used for triggered, fast events or as high-speed data loggers. As software, the API can be used via C++/C# or Python or the ready-to-use TranAX measurement software can be used, for which no programming knowledge is required.

Single-Ended vs Differential Cards All TPCE/TPCE-LE cards are available as single-ended (SE) or differential (DIFF) versions. Depending on how many inputs are measured differentially, an SE or DIFF card is worthwhile. Single-ended cards have one BNC connector per channel where the outside shielding is connected to chassis/protective ground. Two neighboring channel can be configured per software as differential input stage. In this case the signal must be connected as shown aside. Differential cards have two BNC connector per channel where the outside shielding is connected to chassis/protective...
