Energy recuperation for heat treatment oven: Elmetherm supplies thermal equipment for the automobile, aeronautic, electronic, chemical and medical industries. We propose continuous or intermittent equipment up to 750 °C. One of our latest installations: a continuous curing oven for PTFE coating on wires or metallic micro-tubes for medical uses, with smoke treatment and energy recuperation. 6-metre vertical treatment zone repeatedly crossed by wires at a speed of 2 metres per second, with 5 different impregnation zones. The thermal energy of the oven for these treatments between 150 and 550°C is initially provided by electrical resistances. The treatment of vapours to guarantee unpolluted releases into the atmosphere is ensured by a gas afterburner. An energy recuperator placed near the afterburner makes the oven work, the resistances ensure extra heat if needed for temperature regulation. We manufacture many installations with this type of system of vapor treatment and energy recuperation, when solvent treatment is necessary.
