Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides technical specifications and operational guidelines for the DELTA VMK oil burner fuel unit, designed for two-stage operation. It is compatible with international standards and suitable for various oil burners.
1. Features:
  • High suction power and self-priming capability.
  • Operates with one or two pipe systems.
  • Balanced pressure regulator for constant pressure.
  • Silent operation with low power consumption.
  • Equipped with pressure and vacuum gauge ports.
2. Applications: The VMK unit is intended for high-pressure oil burners with two-stage operation. It is not suitable for pumping water or acid.
3. Operation:
  • The unit ensures two-stage operation with independent pressure regulation for starting and working phases.
  • Requires a second solenoid valve on the nozzle line for proper operation.
  • Initial commissioning allows for quick air bleeding through the pressure gauge port.
4. Pump Identification: The VMK pump is identified by type, nozzle capacity, rotation direction, pipe system, and pressure settings. Special versions include additional features like a stainless steel filter or auxiliary pressure port.
5. Technical Specifications:
  • Oil viscosity: 2 to 50 cSt; maximum oil temperature: 60°C.
  • Maximum rotation speed: 3500 RPM.
  • Standard strainer: Nylon mesh 150µ.
  • Various coil specifications for different voltage and frequency requirements.
6. Diagrams: Includes diagrams for nozzle capacity and power consumption, highlighting key components like high-pressure regulation and solenoid valves.
7. Overall Dimensions: Detailed dimensions are provided for installation and compatibility checks.
8. By-pass Installation:
  • Instructions for converting between single and two-pipe versions.
  • Warnings about proper air bleeding and by-pass plug usage to prevent damage.
