EM-M69

EM-M69

Product catalog summary
Overview: The EM-M69 is a current measurement unit designed for both DC and AC applications, capable of measuring up to 50A RMS and 150A peak. It is suitable for use with thyristor power controllers and inverters, offering true RMS measurement across a wide frequency range.
Key Features:
  • Wide frequency range from DC to 10 kHz.
  • True RMS measurement capability.
  • Compatible with thyristor power controllers and inverters.
  • Dip switch settable for easy configuration.
  • Output options include mA and V, with gain and zero adjustments available.
  • Over voltage and reversed polarity protection.
  • Easy connection with a rail mounting base available.
Technical Specifications:
  • Operating voltage: 21-32VDC.
  • Current consumption: Max 100mA.
  • Measuring range: 50A RMS (150A peak).
  • Output signals: Momentary (4-20mA, ±5V, ±10V) and RMS (4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V).
  • Load capacity: <600 ohm for mA output, >1kohm for V output.
  • Crest factor: 2 for 50A, 10 for 10A.
  • Linearity error: <0.3% for sine wave.
  • Thermal drift: <200 ppm/°C.
  • Settling time: 0.05ms for momentary, 0.3s for RMS.
  • Operating temperature: 0-50°C.
Design and Connectivity: The EM-M69 uses a zero-compensated Hall transducer current sensor. It is connected like a three-wire transducer with supply, signal, and ground connections. The device is protected against faulty connections and voltage peaks.
Installation and Adjustment: The device allows for fine-tuning of the scale with zero and gain adjustments. The scale can be modified by adding wiring through the loop, effectively doubling the output range.

EM-M69-1

EM-M69 CURRENT MEASURE UNIT 50A dc/ac FEATURES: • Wide frequency range • True RMS measurement • Also for thyristor power controller and inverter current measurement • Dip switch settable • 50A RMS (150A peak) • mA and V output • Gain and zero adjustment • Over voltage protected • Reversed polarity protected • Easy to connect • Rail mounting base available EM-M69 uses zero compensated Hall transducer current sensor, that works in a wide frequency range, from dc to 10 kHz. This feature gives true current value also in inverter and thyristor power controller applications. The device output signal is either momentary (direct) or converted to true RMS value. Output signal can be set to mA or V. The device is scaled 0-100% => 0-50A, the scale can be fine tuned with zero and gain adjustments. The scale can also be set by adding wiring through loop, for example two wires double the output 0-100% => 0-25A and so on. The device is connected like a three wire transducer: supply, signal, gnd. The input is protected against faulty connections and voltage peaks. WIRE HOLE 13x10mm TECHNICAL DATA: Operating voltage Current comsumption Measuring range Output signal (mom.)
