Principle of OperationThe TR400 uses a shaft-mounted magnetic pulser disc or optional pulser wrap to generate pulses, which are transmitted as digital pulse frequencies to the TR400. It compares these frequencies to programmed values to determine display values and output states. The device can detect direction and speed for bidirectional applications, with relay outputs programmable for various conditions.
Installation and CalibrationThe TR400 is designed for easy installation and setup, with straightforward calibration processes. It includes security code lockout protection and non-volatile memory to retain settings during power outages. Assistance is available through tech support or downloadable manuals.
Sensor InstallationSensors are supplied with mounting brackets and should be installed so that the center line of the magnets passes in front of the sensor's center line. Proper gap distance is crucial and can be adjusted using jam nuts or mounting bracket slots.
