NEW FLANGED HEATER GCB-L EXTRA LARGE HEATER 8 METERS LONG - 1

NEW FLANGED HEATER GCB-L EXTRA LARGE HEATER 8 METERS LONG. Electricfor introduces its new extra large flanged heater design to offer all the advantages of the current Flanged GCB now “without limits”. The headquarters in Barcelona where the main production capacity is concentrated together with the plant in India, and the engineering department which consists of a team of 80 employees, has developed a new design of heater. Committed to expand technologically their products, Electricfor offers this new extra large heater which enables heat to reach the entire volume thanks to its length of about 320 inches (8 meters long). The flanged GCB Electricfor heater is heating groups that heat and hold the temperature of the fluids and gases in industrial processes. They are normally installed in reactors, tanks, and reheaters or circulation heaters among others. These GCB heaters consist of a group of heating elements, fixed to the flange according to DIN or ANSI standard diameter and nominal pressure, including its associated electrical junction box, are particularly adapted for heating and maintaining temperature of the important volumes or even for fluids in circulation such as water, heavy oil, thermal oil, air or gas. Electricfor introduces this new design of flanged Heater GCB-L with new extra large technology of about 320 inches. In the most exacting industrial processes where high heating powers are required it is necessary that the heat is spread evenly throughout the volume in order to hold and assure the same temperature to have a balanced reaction, to avoid changes of the state or different viscosities for example, which could affect the production The production process of these extra large flanged heaters is very specialised and requires the most advanced state of the art. It is possible to configure them in different materials such as stainless steel 321, 316L, Incoloy®-825 or Titanium for hard fluids or gases. The load density of the heater can be different depending on volume to be heated and can be up to 103 W/in² (16 W/cm²), being the most usual and recommended as follow: • • • • 1 a 3 W/cm² for air 1,2 W/cm² for heavy oil 2 a 4 W/cm² for thermal oil, medium or light oils 6 a 8 W/cm² for water Furthermore this type of heater can be made according to ATEX standard for classified areas with potentially explosive atmospheres mainly for the chemical, petrochemical and mining industries for example. In these cases the heater has to be configured to prevent possible deflagrations according to the requirements of the classified ATEX zone Electricfor is committed once again with the energy industry in offering a new product with rigorous quality and to increase the range of solutions to the integrators and operators of industry.
